Worldwide ERC® was looking for a way to increase revenue within the December budget. In an effort to close the calendar year with an increase in sales, The YGS Group provided an idea for success.

Media Sales created the Annual Advertiser Directory, which gave a free listing to all companies that ran an advertising campaign within MOBILITY magazine. The team sold advertising as well as enhanced listings to generate revenue for the piece.

THE RESULTS
Within the first year of offering this piece, YGS grew the December revenue by 61 percent.

THE STRATEGY
Worldwide ERC® wanted to expand advertising opportunities on their website as a cost-effective way to increase revenue.

THE EXECUTION
YGS’ Media Sales team helped create an enhanced advertising opportunity—the page curl ad—which showcases an ad in the upper right hand corner of the website homepage, and allows visitors to expand the ad to full view. This premium placement increases the advertiser’s visibility and peaks site visitors’ interest.

THE RESULTS
The feature was sold as a yearlong commitment to Quicken Loans. This sale increased website revenue by 20 percent for the year.
